A collaborative research study conducted by Assoc. Prof. Şehram Dizeci and Assoc. Prof. Ayşe Çağıl Kandemir from the Faculty of Engineering at TED University has received international recognition with the Best Presentation Award.
The study, entitled "Reinforced Epoxy Adhesives for Improved Performance of Dissimilar Single Lap Joints," was presented by Assoc. Prof. Şehram Dizeci at the XX International Conference on Materials Science, Nanoscience and Applied Chemistry (ICMSNAC 2026), held in Mykonos, Greece. The presentation was honored with the conference's Best Presentation Award.
The research, jointly conducted by Assoc. Prof. Şehram Dizeci and Assoc. Prof. Ayşe Çağıl Kandemir, proposes innovative approaches to enhancing the performance of epoxy-based adhesives used in dissimilar single-lap bonded joints, contributing to advances in the fields of advanced materials and engineering.
