Significant Achievement by Our University under TÜBİTAK 1505 Program

Our University has achieved a significant success within the scope of TÜBİTAK 1505 – University–Industry Cooperation Support Program. The project titled “Optimization of Bearing Performance Using a Bio-Inspired Coating with Graded Elastic Modulus”, prepared in collaboration between TED University and Ortadoğu Rulman Sanayi (ORS), has been awarded funding by TÜBİTAK.
This project holds particular importance as it is the first project in the history of TED University to be supported under the TÜBİTAK 1505 program. The study aims to develop innovative solutions to enhance bearing performance through bio-inspired coating approaches with functionally graded elastic properties.
In the project, Dr. Çağıl Kandemir serves as the Principal Investigator, while Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şehram Dizeci contributes as a Researcher. We congratulate all our academics and industrial partners involved in this valuable university–industry collaboration and wish them continued success.
